The proposed Fantasy Contests Act, authored by a lawmaker from the northern suburbs of the regional capital, would allegedly impose a 10% levy on fantasy sports revenue generated within the jurisdiction. Under the proposed framework, 5% of the collected revenue would reportedly be directed toward problem gambling treatment programs, while the remaining 95% would flow into the general fund.
