Leader pressures Iran to negotiate as military buildup escalates

The nation’s leader has reportedly intensified pressure on Iran to enter negotiations, according to statements made as the country deploys what officials describe as a “massive armada” to the region.

The head of state confirmed that a naval strike group led by an aircraft carrier is being positioned as what observers characterize as a direct threat to the Iranian regime. The leader suggested that military action may be necessary if Tehran’s supreme leader does not agree to negotiations.

“A massive Armada is heading to Iran. It is moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose,” the leader wrote on social media, according to reports. “Hopefully Iran will quickly ‘Come to the Table’ and negotiate a fair and equitable deal - NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS.”

The statement referenced what the leader called “Operation Midnight Hammer,” described as a previous military action against Iran, while warning that “the next attack will be far worse.”

The leader claimed earlier this week that Tehran appears willing to negotiate amid the military buildup, telling media outlets that Iranian officials had reached out “on numerous occasions” seeking to “make a deal.”

According to sources cited by local media, any potential agreement would reportedly require Tehran to remove all enriched uranium, cap its long-range missile stockpile, alter support for regional proxy forces, and cease independent uranium enrichment - terms Iranian leaders have not publicly agreed to.

The military deployment comes as the nation continues to experience what observers describe as widespread domestic unrest, with protests that began in late December. According to human rights organizations, the confirmed death toll from the demonstrations has reached 5,848, with an additional 17,091 deaths under investigation.

Reports from international media suggest that Iran’s supreme leader has been sheltering in a fortified underground facility amid the ongoing civil unrest.
